RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls” Surges on Sales Chart Following “The Voice”

A return to the stage on which she first made her name surely provided a fun dose of nostalgia, but it also represented a major commercial opportunity for “On the Verge” country artist RaeLynn.

Based on the iTunes sales chart, the former Team Blake contestant successfully seized that opportunity.

Following her live performance, RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls” rocketed up the iTunes single sales chart. By the time the west coast broadcast of Tuesday’s “The Voice” results show concluded, the song was up to #24 on the all-genre listing.

Per real-time trending data, “God Made Girls” is selling at three-times the rate it was prior to Tuesday’s televised performance. That rate–and the song’s position on the iTunes chart–is likely to increase as Wednesday progresses.

“God Made Girls,” which was the first female country song admitted into iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” program, is a top twenty hit at country radio.
