Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” is Most-Added at Hot AC; OneRepublic Follows

That Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” has thus far made its largest splash at pop radio does not mean it is unappealing to those in the hot adult contemporary genre.

Already the #34 song at Hot AC, Stefani’s comeback single ranks as the format’s most-added song this week, says Mediabase.

“Baby Don’t Lie” tops the add board thanks to support from 21 monitored stations. The latest round of pickups puts the single in position to leave a significant mark on the format.

Also attractive to programmers this week was OneRepublic’s “I Lived,” which leverages 11 pickups to rank as the week’s second-most-added Hot AC song.

Ella Henderson’s “Ghost,” which is now receiving the iHeartMedia “On the Verge” boost at the format, ties for third place with nine adds. Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries,” Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” and Ingrid Michaelson’s “Afterlife” garnered that same level of support this week.
