Blake Shelton Tops Album Sales Chart, Leads Lady Antebellum (Updated)

Update: Blake Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine” and The Script’s “No Sound Without Silence” remain #1 and #2 on the iTunes Album Sales chart, respectively, but some shuffling has affected the balance of the top ten.

Lady Antebellum’s “747” is now #3 on the chart. One Direction’ “FOUR” pre-order slips to #4, while Tove Lo’s “Queen of the Clouds” is currently positioned at #5.

Prince’s “ART OFFICIAL AGE” holds at #6, but Logic’s “Under Pressure” slides into the #7 position. Steve Aoki’s “Neon Future I,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” “Awesome Mix, Volume 1” and Colbie Caillat’s “Gypsy Heart” take the final three respective Top 10 positions.

Blake Shelton is “Bringing Back the Sunshine,” and iTunes buyers have brought Shelton back to the top of the sales chart.

Shortly after becoming available Tuesday, the new Shelton album surged to #1 on iTunes.

And while iTunes only reflects one piece of the sales puzzle, the overall market is expected to be on the same page this week. Blake Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine” is set to reign as the week’s overall #1 album.

As far as iTunes goes, The Script’s “No Sound Without Silence” currently claims the runner-up slot. One Direction’s “FOUR,” which is only in pre-release, follows at #3, while Tove Lo’s new “Queen of the Clouds” and Lady Antebellum’s new “747” own the #4 and #5 positions, respectively.

Other top ten sellers include Prince’s “ART OFFICIAL AGE” (#6), Steve Aoki’s “Neon Future I” (#7), the “Guardians of the Galaxy” “Awesome Mix, Volume 1” (#8), Colbie Caillat’s “Gypsy Heart” (#9) and Logic’s “Under Pressure” (#10).
