The Pretty Reckless’ “Messed Up World” Hits #1 at Rock Radio

Already #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, The Pretty Reckless’ “Messed Up World” has ascended to the top spot on Mediabase’s rolling active rock airplay chart.

The recipient of 1,650 spins between August 27 and September 2, “Messed Up World” usurps the #1 spot from Nothing More’s declining “This is the Time (Ballast).”

With 1,608 spins during the measured period, “This is the Time” actually slips to #3 on Mediabase’s chart. Linkin Park’s “Until it’s Gone,” which received the same number of plays but more chart points, cruises into #2.

The Pretty Reckless’ song, which is the follow-up to multi-week number one “Heaven Knows,” scored 4.22 million audience impressions within the aforementioned seven day window.

The leader on the rolling chart, “Messed Up World” will need to retain the #1 spot through Sunday to register as the week’s official number one.
