There is no need to hide your excitement for Christina Perri’s performance on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
After all, you’re only “Human.”
The popular singer-songwriter takes the stage on Monday’s edition of the NBC talk show to perform her new single “Burning Gold.” That release, which is the second from Perri’s “Head or Heart” album, just debuted at #39 on Billboard’s “Adult Pop Songs” chart.
The recipient of strong critical and fan marks, “Burning Gold” finds Perri successfully applying her signature vocal tone to a track more energetic, anthemic and upbeat (but no less lyrically frank) than previous hits “Human” and “Jar of Hearts.”
Taped Monday evening, the performance will be broadcast as part of Monday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Set to air on NBC at 12:35AM ET (early Tuesday), the episode also features host Seth Meyers’ interviews with Carson Daly and Penn and Teller.
