Tatiana Maslany Snubbed Again; No “Orphan Black” Emmy Nomination

It was one thing last year. “Orphan Black,” for all its buzz and critical acclaim, was a little-seen show on the little-watched BBC America.

But following the backlash over her absence from last year’s nomination list, a year’s worth of additional raves about her performance on the aforementioned “Black” and a feature in Emmy Magazine, it seemed implausible she would be snubbed again.

She was.

Nominations for the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards were revealed Thursday, and the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama race once again omits Maslany from contention.

Competing for that award will be previous nominees Claire Danes (“Homeland”), Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey”), Kerry Washington (“Scandal”), Robin Wright (“House of Cards”), Julianna Marguiles (“The Good Wife”) and newcomer Lizzy Caplan (“Masters of Sex”).

“Orphan Black” did not receive any key nominations this year.
