Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type” made a significant splash on Spotify Friday, debuting prominently on the platform’s US and Global streaming charts.

Credited with 1,006,848 American streams on August 22, “Jealous Type” arrives at #8 on the US listing. A worldwide count of 3,170,945 meanwhile yields a #14 bow on the Global breakdown.

Not simply the top debut on both charts, “Jealous Type” is the only newcomer to make either chart’s Top 25. The next-highest US debut is Deftones’ “infinite source” at #32; the worldwide runner-up among debuts is Stray Kids’ “CEREMONY” at #27.
