“Reno 911” funnyman Thomas Lennon has booked a guest spot on “How I Met Your Mother,” multiple sources, including Entertainment Weekly, confirmed this week.
Lennon will appear as Klaus, the fiancee Victoria (Ashley Williams) left at the altar to run off with Ted (Josh Radnor) in the season seven finale. As season eight gets underway, it will become clear that Victoria did not even leave her provide her would-be husband with a note.
Ted, who now finds himself on the other side of a runaway bride situation, did receive a note when Sarah Chalke’s Stella bailed on their wedding in season four.
