Saweetie’s hit single “My Type” continues its ascent at rhythmic radio.
Up one place, the track rises to #10 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic chart. It becomes Saweetie’s first Top 10 hit at the format.
“My Type” received ~3,577 spins during the August 4-10 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 247.
— Not simply a rhythmic hit, “My Type” is faring well on the urban chart. It slips to #12—but posts an airplay gain—at the urban format this week.
“My Type” is meanwhile set to impact the pop format later this month; it is already receiving some mainstream airplay.
Thanks to the combination of its radio airplay and solid sales and streaming, “My Type” recently hit the Top 40 on the overall Billboard Hot 100.
