Ratings: “Euphoria” Dips In Week Three, “Big Little Lies” Also Drops Slightly

The second episode of HBO’s “Euphoria” enjoyed a rare post-premiere gain in adults 18-49, while holding almost perfectly steady in overall viewership.

The third episode, which aired Sunday, June 30, endured a slight decline in the demo and a non-trivial decline in viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Euphoria” drew a 0.19 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.49 million overall viewers. Last week’s broadcast scored a 0.20 in the demo and 0.57 million in viewership.

— “Euphoria” led out of the fourth second season “Big Little Lies” episode, which drew a 0.40 rating and 1.61 million viewers. Last week’s broadcast scored a 0.42 in the demo and 1.62 million in overall viewership.

As with most HBO shows, “Euphoria” and “Big Little Lies” receive substantial lifts from DVR, on-demand and streaming viewership.
