Barring an unlikely late-week collapse, Ellie Goulding & Diplo’s “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee)” is headed for #1 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.
“Close To Me” received 1,650 spins during the first two days of the April 28-May 4 tracking period. Up slightly from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Close To Me” at #1 on the building/real-time chart.
As an older song, “Close To Me” is no longer rising at a particularly fast rate. But as it faces no imminent threat from below, it should be able to retain its position through the close of tracking.
