Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes” is on track to reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.
The radio smash received 1,618 spins during the first two days of the November 25-December 1 tracking period. Up 6% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “High Hopes” at #1 on the Mediabase building chart.
With 5 Seconds Of Summer’s building #2 “Youngblood” and Maroon 5’s building #3 “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” decelerating, there are no imminent threats to “High Hopes.” It should be able to retain its crown through the close of tracking.
A multi-format hit, “High Hopes” is the reigning #1 song at alternative radio. It meanwhile occupies #2 on the pop chart — and seems headed for #1 in the very near future.
