Save for a few exceptions, Cardi B has spent much of 2018 as the top-ranking female act on the Billboard Artist 100.

One of those exceptions comes this week.

Thanks to the release of her “God is a woman” as well as ongoing interest in releases like “No Tears Left To Cry,” “Bed” and “The Light Is Coming,” Ariana Grande earns the “top female” distinction on this week’s chart.

Grande takes #4 on the overall chart, trailing only three male acts: Drake (#1), Post Malone (#2) and Imagine Dragons (#3). The Artist 100, as a reminder, ranks America’s top artists based on factors like album sales, song consumption and social media activity.

The aforementioned Cardi B directly follows at #5 on the overall chart and #2 among female artists.

Taylor Swift follows as the third-highest-ranking female artist. She grabs #9 on the overall chart.

Ella Mai (#4 female, #22 overall) and Camila Cabello (#5 female, #23 overall) complete the Top 5 for female artists.

Other high-ranking female acts include Dua Lipa (#6 female, #27 overall), Halsey (#7 female, #37 overall), Lauren Daigle (#8 female, #41 overall), Nicki Minaj (#9 female, #42 overall) and Selena Gomez (#10 female, #44 overall).

The aforementioned list only includes solo female acts.
