Matt Hunter & Lele Pons’ “Dicen” Reaches Platinum In US Under RIAA’s Latin Program

“Dicen” attains platinum status under the RIAA’s Latin Music Program.

Matt Hunter and Lele Pons - Dicen | Universal Latino

“Dicen,” the collaboration between Matt Hunter and Lele Pons, just picked up a digital single certification in the United States.

The song has been certified platinum under the RIAA’s Latin Music Program.

Honoring music that is primarily in Spanish, the Latin program uses an adjusted certification methodology. Whereas a standard platinum award signifies 1 million in US units, a Latin platinum certification confirms 60,000.

Each unit are equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Given the entertainers’ popularity on social networks, it should come as no surprise that “Dicen” has fared particularly well on YouTube.
