No, the 2018 season premieres of “America’s Got Talent” and “World Of Dance” were not quite as potent as the 2017 launches.

They still fared very well. They still dominated the competition.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “AGT” drew a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 11.55 million viewers at 8PM. The numbers improved to 2.6 and 12.57 million, respectively, at 9PM.

Last year’s season premiere averaged a 2.7 rating and 12.32 million viewers.

Airing at 10PM, this year’s “World Of Dance” opener drew a 1.8 rating and 7.17 million viewer mark. Last year’s launch drew a 2.4 in the demo and 9.71 million in viewership.

Not merely the top two programs Tuesday night, “AGT” and “World Of Dance” were the only network shows to break a 1.0 in the demo (granted, FOX was the only other network to fill its lineup with original programming).
