Numerous US pop radio stations just proved that they do not hate The Chainsmokers.

The duo’s new single “Everybody Hates Me” received opening day airplay in numerous markets.

According to Mediabase, Birmingham, Alabama’s 103.7 The Q had played “Everybody Hates Me” a whopping 15 times by the end of Friday.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 had played the song 12 times, while Long Island’s 106.1 BLI offered 10 spins.

Other noteworthy early supporters included Tampa’s Hot 101.5 (8 spins) and Miami’s Hits 97.3 (7 spins). At least thirteen other stations played the song between two and six times Friday.

While it pales in comparison to early support for singles like “Paris,” the early “Everybody Hates Me” play trumps that for The Chainsmokers’ February release “You Owe Me.”
