“Greatest Showman” Pacing To Win Sales Race, But Migos Headed For #1 On Billboard 200

The “Greatest Showman” soundtrack will sell more copies this week, but Migos’ “Culture” will top the overall Billboard 200.

Two weeks ago, “The Greatest Showman” took first place on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart but second on the Billboard 200.

This week’s US album race will likely feature the same outcome.

According to Hits Daily Double, “The Greatest Showman” is projected to sell 56-61,000 pure US copies this week. That should be enough for #1 on Top Album Sales.

The album does not, however, appear to have a shot at #1 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart. That honor will belong to Migos’ new “Culture II.”

While “Culture II” is only expected to sell 30-40,000 pure US copies this week, it should reach 180-195,000 in total consumption. Consumption, as a reminder, is the sum of pure sales, TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500).

“The Greatest Showman” should take #2 on the Billboard 200 with 87-92,000 in consumption.
