Lightning occasionally does strike twice.
It did for “The Voice” contestant Adam Cunningham, who received a second consecutive Instant Save.
Like he did last week, the Team Adam contestant landed in this week’s bottom two. Team Miley’s Janice Freeman also ranked as one of the bottom two vote-getters.
The two contestants vied for Twitter votes during Tuesday night’s results show. Cunningham received a greater percentage, and therefore advances to the Top 10.

Teams Blake (Chloe Kohanski, Red Marlow & Keisha Renee) and Jennifer (Shi’Ann Jones, Davon Fleming & Noah Mac) remain intact. Adam Levine’s team is down to Cunningham and Addison Agen, while Miley Cyrus is now only represented by Ashland Craft and Brooke Simpson.
“The Voice” continues next Monday night.
