As she reached a career milestone at radio, breakout artist Stella Lefty enjoyed a major presence at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
The singer-songwriter, whose “Boston” officially reached #1 at country radio as the festival was taking place, joined Major Lazer as one of only two acts to play inside and outside the T-Mobile Arena.
She first took the outdoor stage for the House of Music pre-show on Saturday, running through hits like the aforementioned “Boston.”
Later, she reprised that song on the main T-Mobile stage.
To deny the criticism and controversy surrounding the artist in recent weeks would be dishonest.
But to deny the in-person resonance would be similarly preposterous. She may not have had an electric “moment” in any performance, but she sang well and exuded charm and charisma in both sets.
When she walked through the crowd during the outdoor “Boston” performance, fans of all demographics were legitimately excited. And when the show ended, Headline Planet directly heard one group of fans say, “I’m so glad we made it to Stella Lefty” in time.
The artist joined night one opener Kenny Chesney and fellow night two performer Lainey Wilson as one of three country acts on the star-studded festival lineup.
