Stella Lefty’s breakthrough hit “Boston” is set to claim the #1 position at country radio this week.
“Boston” holds a firm lead as the September 13-19 tracking period reaches its later stages, and it thus feels like a lock to top the Mediabase country radio chart.
Billboard’s Country Airplay chart ranks based on a different methodology, but “Boston” is also in the mix to top that listing.
“Boston” was a big part of the “summer of country,” joining songs like Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” “Be Her,” and “I Can’t Love You Anymore (With Morgan Wallen),” Wallen’s own “Been By Now,” and Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” as some of the year’s biggest songs in all of music.
