Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” wins a close race to retain #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The “Eternal Sunshine” single received ~15,891 spins during the May 19-25 tracking period. Though down 444 plays from last week’s mark, the count still ranks as the week’s best — and earns “we can’t be friends” a second week at #1.

Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” the recipient of ~15,860 spins (-70), holds at #2.

SZA’s “Saturn” rises one spot to #3, while Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” ticks down a place to #4. Up three places, Hozier’s “Too Sweet” earns #5.
