Two high-profile hip-hop albums launched this week, and both are headed for six-figure opening week consumption totals.

According to Hits Daily Double, Polo G’s “Hall Of Fame” is projected to debut with 165-175K total US units. About 4-7K will come from album sales, with the remaining units attributable to track sales and streams (primarily streams).

The unit total should position “Hall Of Fame” as the week’s #1 album.

Migos’ “Culture III” will also land near the top of this week’s overall chart, based on its projected tally of 125-135K total units (about 5-8K from sales). “Culture III” will be the week’s #2 newcomer. Its position on the overall chart will depend on the week four hold for Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR,” but it should certainly land in the Top 5 — and likely Top 3.
