Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause” Makes Top 15 On Global YouTube Music Videos Chart After Late-Week Release

“Lost Cause” received a significant amount of first-week interest.

It launched late in the May 28-June 3 tracking period, but Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause” still posted an impressive debut number on YouTube.

The buzzy music video registered 17.2 million views within the walls of the tracking period. The count earns “Lost Cause” a #15 spot on this week’s Global YouTube Music Videos Chart.

The Eilish video, moreover, ranks as the week’s #3 new entry. Only the “Hotter Remix” and “Special Performance” videos for BTS’ blockbuster hit “Butter” received more tracking period views.

“Lost Cause” concurrently debuts at #39 on the Global YouTube Songs Chart, which accounts for total plays across all eligible uploads. “Lost Cause” received 18.0 million such views.

— “Lost Cause” performed particularly well in the United States, earning #2 on the US Music Videos Chart (4.6 million) and #16 on the US Songs Chart (4.8 million).
