Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Light” improves to #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.

The song, which was #3 last week, seizes the throne from Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.”

“Blinding Lights” received ~6,447 spins during the May 10-16 tracking period, topping last week’s mark by 343.

The aforementioned “Don’t Start Now” falls to #2 this week; it posted a tracking period play count of ~6,329 (-143).

Post Malone’s “Circles” rises one spot to #3 despite a slight decrease in airplay, while Harry Styles’ “Adore You” slides two spots to #4. Billie Eilish’s “everything i wanted” concurrently rises two places to a new peak of #5.
