Twenty One Pilots’ “The Hype” adds yet another week to its impressive reign as alternative radio’s biggest song.

Played ~3,101 times during the December 1-7 tracking period, the hit single enjoys an eighth week at #1 on Mediabase’s alternative radio chart. This week’s spin count trails last week’s mark by 25 but keeps “The Hype” ahead of the pack.

Coldplay’s “Orphans,” which received ~2,949 spins (+121), holds at #2.

Meg Myers’ “Running Up That Hill” spends another week at #3, and Absofacto’s “Dissolve” keeps tabs on the #4 position. Up one place, Billie Eilish’s “all the good girls go to hell” earns the #5 slot.
