The Weeknd’s new single “Heartless” enjoyed an unsurprisingly big first day at radio.

According to Mediabase, the new track had received 1,325 pop radio spins by the end of Wednesday. The count slots “Heartless” at #28 on Mediabase’s building/real-time chart, which ranks songs based on the first four days of the November 24-30 tracking period.

“Heartless” meanwhile earned 467 opening day spins at rhythmic radio, yielding a #37 position on that format’s building chart.

Although “Heartless” may not receive quite as many plans on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it should receive enough to remain in the Top 40 at both formats.
