Maroon 5’s “Memories” Approaching #1 At Hot Adult Contemporary Radio

“Memories” could reach #1 as soon as this week.

Maroon 5 - Memories | 222/Interscope

Available for just slightly more than two months, Maroon 5’s “Memories” is already approaching #1 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.

The hit single received 1,602 spins during the first two days of the November 24-30 tracking period. Up 7% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Memories” at #1 on Mediabase’s building/real-time chart.

Because the week is so young and because there could be a playlist impact later this week due to Thanksgiving (and thus a greater emphasis on holiday music), it is too early to guarantee “Memories” will hit #1 this week. It is also worth noting that “Memories” only maintains a 15-spin lead over Lewis Capaldi’s building #2 “Someone You Loved (though, with that song fading, “Memories” has a clear momentum advantage).

Still, “Memories” is clearly within striking distance of #1. It should definitely get there within the next two weeks.
