Just shy of 22 hours after he debuted the track on “Saturday Night Live,” Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar” reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

“Watermelon Sugar” earned the all-genre #1 position at about 10:15PM ET Sunday. It seized the throne from P!nk’s “Love Me Anyway (featuring Chris Stapleton),” which hit #1 in the aftermath of the artists’ CMA Awards performance. That song is now #2.

“Watermelon Sugar” appears on Styles’ forthcoming sophomore solo album “Fine Line.” It follows “Lights Up” (currently #35, also following a performance at “SNL”) as the second taste of the new LP.
