Two of the year’s biggest songs — from two of the year’s biggest breakthrough artists — just earned new multi-platinum accreditations in Australia.

According to ARIA, Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” officially attained 6x platinum status this week. The award confirms 420,000 in Australian units.

Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” concurrently hits the 5x platinum barrier, signifying at least 350,000 units.

A former #1 on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart, “bad guy” is currently #18. The #4-peaking “Someone You Loved” is #15 this week.
