This weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live” posted a slight week-over-week gain in households. It meanwhile tied last week’s performance in adults 18-49.

Citing metered market data, NBC says the episode drew a 4.1 overnight household rating. It garnered a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets.

This week’s episode featured Kristen Stewart as host and Coldplay as musical guest. Last week’s broadcast, which featured Chance The Rapper pulling double duty, drew a 3.8 in households and the same 1.7 in adults 18-49.

Not simply up from last week’s episode, this weekend’s “SNL” also topped the October 12 and October 5 episodes in households (both posted the same 1.7 demo rating)**. Due to a methodology change, NBC notes that comparisons to earlier episodes are impossible.

**NBC initially reported that the methodology change took effect with the October 5 episode. In today’s press release, it says that it took place for the October 12 broadcast, thus making the comparison to October 5 also impossible.
