Miranda Lambert’s “Wildcard” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Album Sales Chart

The new Miranda Lambert album shoots to #1 on iTunes.

On the near-immediate heels of its late Thursday/early Friday release, Miranda Lambert’s new “Wildcard” shot to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

It retains its position atop the chart as of press time at 1:10AM ET.

Kanye West’s “JESUS IS KING,” which spent much of the past week at #1, is now #2 on the all-genre listing. Hootie & The Blowfish’s new “Imperfect Circle” follows at #3, ahead of Highly Suspect’s new “MCID” (#4) and Yelawolf’s new “Ghetto Cowboy” (#5).

Halloween compilations hold the next several spots on the chart, but that landscape will almost certainly change in the coming hours.
