Very early projections are available for Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King,” and they point to a big debut for the new album.

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to sell 60-85K US albums this week. With units from track sales and streams included, it may generate 225-275K in first-week consumption.

The initial projections can always be rough, and the mid-Friday release may further impact the accuracy of the forecast. Still, it seems safe to project that “Jesus Is King” will be a dominant #1 this week.

“Jesus Is King” is the follow-up to “Ye,” which debuted at #1 courtesy of its 208K first-week US units (85K from sales).
