Last week’s #2 song moves up to #1 on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio chart.

Cage The Elephant’s “Social Cues,” that song, rises to #1 on the strength of its ~3,426 tracking period spins. The format-leading count tops last week’s mark by 253 plays.

Twenty One Pilots’ “The Hype,” which ruled last week’s chart, settles for #2 this week. “The Hype” earned ~3,309 spins during the October 13-19 tracking period, topping last week’s mark by 80 but falling short of the “Social Cues” total.

Illenium & Jon Bellion’s “Good Things Fall Apart” holds at #3, while Lana Del Rey’s “Doin’ Time” spends another week at #4. Green Day’s “Father Of All …” stays put at #5.
