At the onset of the week, three songs seemed to be in contention for #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” ultimately claims victory.

Played 18,605 times during the October 6-12 tracking period, “Truth Hurts” earns a 4th consecutive week at #1. The spin count trails last week’s mark by a hefty 757 but keeps the Lizzo breakthrough slightly ahead of its competition.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “Señorita,” which holds at #2, received 18,589 spins this week (-431). Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” again (and closely) follows at #3.

Post Malone’s “Goodbyes (featuring Young Thug)” spends another week at #4, while Jonas Brothers’ “Only Human” rises one place to #5.
