After enduring a post-premiere drop for last week’s episode, FOX’s “The Masked Singer” held steady this week.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Masked Singer” drew a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 6.92 million viewers. Last week’s episode posted a 2.0 in the demo and 6.97 million in total viewers.

While dreams that “The Masked Singer” would build on last season’s stellar performance may have been dashed, the show is still performing at a very high level. It is currently the hottest non-sports show on TV.

FOX led out of “The Masked Singer” with episode two of “Almost Family.” It drew a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.60 million viewers.

— In other Wednesday ratings news: The CW continued its premiere week with the season four premiere of “Riverdale” and series premiere of “Nancy Drew.”

“Riverdale” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and 1.18 million viewers. The numbers trail the 0.5 rating and 1.50 million viewer mark garnered by last year’s premiere but top the 0.3 rating and 0.86 million mark posted by the previous finale.

“Nancy Drew” followed with a 0.3 rating and 1.17 million viewers.
