Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s former multi-week pop radio #1 “Señorita” is about to hit #1 at another radio format.
The global smash is set to reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.
“Señorita” received 4,782 spins during the first five days of the September 29-October 5 tracking period. Up 2.5% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Señorita” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.
Lewis Capaldi’s building #2 “Someone You Loved” is not too far beyond (4,720 spins), but “Señorita” seems to have the clear momentum advantage. Whereas it is up 2.5% from last week’s mark, “Someone You Loved” is down 0.2%.
And even if “Someone You Loved” manages to win this week’s race, “Señorita” would seemingly be in great position to hit #1 next week.
