Twenty One Pilots’ “The Hype,” Alessia Cara’s “Rooting For You,” and Saweetie’s “My Type” officially enter the Top 40 this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Below last week’s chart at #41, “The Hype” enters this week’s Top 40 at #36. It received 1,350 spins during the September 22-28 tracking period, topping last week’s mark by 148 spins.

Credited with 1,289 spins (+175), “Rooting For You” enjoys a six-place lift to #38.

“My Type” concurrently rises seven places to make its chart bow at #39. The former rhythmic radio #1 received 1,201 pop radio spins this week (+170).
