The music video for Shakira’s 2005 single “Don’t Bother” blasts into the Top 10 on this week’s Global YouTube Music Videos Chart.

The video, which received 22.9 million views during the September 20-26 tracking period, makes its chart bow at #9.

A late-week announcement that Shakira would be co-headlining the Super Bowl halftime show with Jennifer Lopez may have ignited some last-minute interest in the video. It is worth noting, however, that “Don’t Bother” was enjoying a resurgence on YouTube prior to the announcement.

Shakira concurrently soars to #33 on the Global YouTube Artists chart; she was #74 last week.
