Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” Why Don’t We’s “What Am I” Reach Top 40 At Pop Radio

“Lover” and “What Am I” debut on this week’s pop radio chart.

In addition to two debuts from Camila Cabello, this week’s Mediabase pop radio chart welcomes entries from Taylor Swift and Why Don’t We.

“Lover,” the title track and new single from Swift’s album, enters the Top 40 at #33. It was below last week’s chart at #49.

“Lover” received 1,471 spins during the September 1-7 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by 965.

Why Don’t We’s “What Am I” concurrently rises four places to #39. The group’s new single received 1,176 tracking week spins (+473).

— “Lover” concurrently debuts at #39 on the hot adult contemporary radio chart (up twelve places from last week’s sub-chart ranking). “What Am I” is not yet charting, but it will go for Hot AC adds this week.
