Matt Maeson’s “Cringe” predictably retains the throne on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio chart.

Played ~3,494 times during the August 18-24 tracking period, “Cringe” celebrates a second week at #1. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 121 plays and that of the closest competitor by more than 300.

Of Monsters & Men’s “Alligator,” which rises one spot to #2, received ~3,163 spins (+127).

Dominic Fike’s “3 Nights” advances one position to #3, while Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” drops two spots to #4.

Up one spot from last week, Lana Del Rey’s “Doin’ Time” earns #5.
