Matt Maeson’s “Cringe” officially reaches #1 on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Billie Eilish’s “bad guy.” It becomes Maeson’s first career #1 at the format.

“Cringe” received ~3,361 spins during the August 11-17 tracking period. The format-leading count tops last week’s mark by 283.

The aforementioned “bad guy” falls to #2 with ~3,176 spins (-225).

Of Monsters & Men’s “Alligator” spends another week at #3, while Dominic Fike’s “3 Nights” ticks up one place to #4. Panic! At The Disco’s “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” concurrently rises one spot to #5.
