Taylor Swift’s “Lover” Earns #1 On Daily US Spotify Streaming Chart; #4 On Global Chart

Taylor Swift’s “Lover” unsurprisingly made a big opening day statement on the Spotify streaming platform.

The song, in fact, earns #1 on the Daily US Spotify Chart. It led Friday with 1.854 million streams.

Credited with 3.636 million worldwide streams, “Lover” meanwhile earns #4 on the Daily Global Spotify Chart.

“Lover” is the title track — and fourth pre-release cut — from Swift’s forthcoming studio album. Other pre-release tracks include formal radio singles “ME!” and “You Need To Calm Down” and acclaimed album cut “The Archer.”

The “Lover” album, Swift’s seventh studio LP, arrives Friday, August 23.
