Sarah Jeffery’s “Descendants 3” song “Queen of Mean” enjoyed a massive week following the film’s August 2 premiere.
The official music video debuts at #1 on this week’s US YouTube Music Videos Chart. It amassed 12.9 million US views during the August 4-10 tracking period**, besting the #2 video by more than 4 million.
“Queen of Mean” also fared well on US iTunes, where it spent much of the week as one of the 25 best-selling songs.
Based on its strong YouTube and iTunes numbers, “Queen Of Mean” has a good chance of making this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. Billboard will reveal its chart standing no later than Tuesday.
**Editor’s Note: While it has no ramification for the Hot 100, it is worth noting that “Queen Of Mean” also fared well globally, earning #7 on this week’s worldwide listing.
