Lizzos’ “Truth Hurts” Likely Headed For #1 At Rhythmic Radio

“Truth Hurts” should dethrone “No Guidance” on this week’s chart.

After a two-week stint at #1, it looks like Chris Brown’s “No Guidance (featuring Drake)” will cede its position atop the Mediabase rhythmic radio chart. Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” is on track to reach #1 this week.

The multi-format hit received 4,610 spins during the first five days of the August 4-10 tracking period. Up 6% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Truth Hurts” at #1 on Mediabase’s building rhythmic chart.

“Truth Hurts” only has a 16-spin lead over “No Guidance,” but it boasts a clear momentum advantage. Whereas it is up 6% from last week, “No Guidance” is down 2%.

If both songs remain on their trajectories, “Truth Hurts” will retain its position through the close of tracking.

And even if “No Guidance” manages to claim victory this week, “Truth Hurts” would be a safe bet to win next week.
