As Volbeat’s new album “Rewind, Replay, Rebound” enters the market, single “Last Day Under The Sun” reaches the pinnacle of the active rock radio mountain.

Up one place, the track takes #1 on this week’s Mediabase active rock chart.

“Last Day Under The Sun” received 1,978 spins during the July 28-August 3 tracking period. The format-leading count tops last week’s mark by 115 spins.

Godsmack’s former #1 “Under Your Scars,” which received 1,835 spins (-67), falls to #2 this week.

I Prevail’s “Breaking Down” holds at #3, while Disturbed’s “No More” jumps four places to #4. Greta Van Fleet’s “Lover, Leaver” concurrently rises two spots to #5.
