Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Lauren Daigle’s Contemporary Christian crossover “You Say” jumps to #1 on this week’s Mediabase adult contemporary radio chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Maroon 5’s long-running #1 “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B).”

“You Say” received 2,616 spins during the July 28-August 3 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by a healthy 420 spins.

A legitimate multi-format hit, “You Say” previously enjoyed a lengthy stint atop the Christian AC chart. It also reached the Top 5 at Hot AC radio and Top 20 at pop radio.

“Girls Like You” takes #2 on this week’s chart with 2,368 spins (+36).

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” holds at #3, while P!nk’s “Walk Me Home” spends another week at #4. Dean Lewis’ “Be Alright” concurrently retains its #5 ranking.
