Willie & Paula Nelson’s “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” Enters Top 10 On US iTunes Following “Big Little Lies”

Over the past two seasons, “Big Little Lies” has gained notoriety for its effective use of music.

The inclusion of Willie Nelson & Paula Nelson’s “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” cover may have been the most effective yet; the iTunes response confirms it.

“Have You Ever Seen The Rain” played over pivotal scenes at the end of Sunday’s second season finale. As of 9AM ET Monday morning, it is up to #8 on the all-genre US iTunes sales chart.

It is #4 on the country chart, trailing only “Old Town Road,” “The Git Up,” and “God’s Country.”

A cover of the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” appears on Willie Nelson’s 2013 album “To All The Girls …”
