In the hours after its release Friday, Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down” shot to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

By the end of the weekend, it had relinquished its throne to Lil Nas X’s enduring smash “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus).”

Thanks to buzz over the Monday morning video release, “You Need To Calm Down” returned to #1. It occupies that pinnacle position as of press time at 10:45AM ET.

The video features a myriad of cameos from celebrities who are in and/or famously supportive of the LGBTQ community. Much buzz is emerging around the appearance from Katy Perry, with whom Swift had well-documented (but recently resolved) “beef.”
