The week’s two highest-profile new releases both debut prominently on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Katy Perry’s “Never Really Over” starts at #15 on the listing. Cardi B’s “Press” starts directly behind at #16.

The Hot 100 ranks songs from all genres based on sales, streams and radio airplay.

“Never Really Over” fared better on the sales standpoint, while data suggests “Press” had an edge in streaming. “Never Really Over” also benefited from big opening week airplay at the pop and hot adult contemporary radio formats.
