Powered by a big week-over-week spin gain, Lil Baby’s “Close Friends” jumps to #1 on this week’s Mediabase urban radio chart.

“Close Friends,” which was #2 last week, earns #1 on the strength of its ~5,505 tracking period plays. This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by a mammoth 730 plays.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” the previous #1 song, falls to #2 this week. It received ~5,065 spins during the June 2-8 tracking period (-307).

City Girls’ “Act Up” spends another week at #3, while DaBaby’s “Suge” jumps four spots to #4. Summer Walker & Drake’s “Girls Need Love” concurrently falls one place to #5.
